MAJOR MODES EASY TUTORIAL: Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian [MODAL JAZZ PIANO]

For some reason, people often make modal music theory seem harder than it is. Understanding modes is easier than you think! In this tutorial, we go over the Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolion, and Locrian modes. Each mode is also useful for knowing which scale to play on which chord. We talk about the music theory explaining which scale goes best with which chord when you're playing music, writing a song, or playing jazz piano and improvising.
